These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Kredey Innovations Private Limited ("Kredey," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Slowatom online store (slowatom.com). By placing an order or using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Slowatom

Slowatom is a brand of Kredey Innovations Private Limited that designs and sells hand-thrown ceramic stoneware mugs, made to order in small batches and shipped across India.

Slowatom operates as an inventory e-commerce entity under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 — meaning we are the seller of every product listed on the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order on Slowatom. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Account and orders

You may place an order as a guest or by creating an account using your email and phone number. You are responsible for the accuracy of all information provided during checkout — particularly your delivery address. We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete address details.

4. Products

Slowatom mugs are hand-thrown ceramic stoneware. Each piece is made by hand in small batches. As inherent to handmade ceramics:

Small variations in color, surface texture, weight, and dimension are normal and expected. Each piece is one-of-one, even within the same color.
Product photography reflects representative pieces. The mug you receive may vary slightly in color, surface, or finish from the photograph.
These variations are characteristics of the product, not defects.

All products are made to order. Once you place an order, your piece enters our production queue and is dispatched as soon as it is ready. Estimated dispatch timelines are communicated at the time of order confirmation.

5. Pricing and payment

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR). Applicable taxes, if any, and shipping charges will be calculated and shown at checkout. The total displayed at checkout is the final amount you pay — there are no hidden charges.

Slowatom is not currently registered under GST as our turnover is below the threshold prescribed under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. No GST is charged on your order. This status will be updated if and when registration becomes applicable.

All payments are processed through Razorpay. Slowatom does not store your payment credentials. Your card or UPI details are handled exclusively by Razorpay under their PCI-DSS-compliant systems.

6. Order confirmation, cancellation, and refunds

Order confirmation: an order is confirmed once payment is successfully processed.
Cancellation by you: orders can be cancelled at no charge before production begins. To cancel, write to support@slowatom.com with your order ID.
Cancellation by us: in rare cases — for example, a stock or pricing error — we may cancel your order. In such cases, we will issue a full refund and notify you immediately.
Refunds: processed through Razorpay and credited to the original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days depending on your payment provider.

7. Returns

Because each Slowatom piece is made to order in small batches, we do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect color choice, or any reason other than transit damage.

If your order arrives broken, we replace it (or refund if the color is no longer available) at no cost to you. The full damage policy is set out on our Returns & Refunds page.

8. Shipping and delivery

We ship across India through trusted courier partners. Delivery timelines, charges, and serviceability are detailed on our Shipping & Delivery page. International shipping is not currently available.

Once your order ships, ownership of the goods passes to you. We are responsible for damage that occurs in transit, subject to the conditions in our Returns & Refunds policy.

9. Intellectual property

The Slowatom name, logo, brand elements, site design, photography, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Kredey Innovations Private Limited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of these without our prior written permission.

10. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

use the site for any unlawful purpose
misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the site
attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or our systems
interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the site
engage in fraudulent activity, payment fraud, or chargeback abuse
resell products purchased from Slowatom without our prior written consent

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slowatom and Kredey Innovations shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for matters that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kredey Innovations from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law, or any misuse of the site.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, or refuse service, without prior notice if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably consider harmful to the site, our staff, or other customers. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@slowatom.com. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

If unsatisfied, you may approach the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.

16. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified at least 15 days before they take effect via the site or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds policy, and Shipping & Delivery policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kredey Innovations regarding your use of the Slowatom site.
