About the products

What are Slowatom mugs made of?
Hand-thrown stoneware ceramic, fired at 1220°C in small batches. Stoneware is a dense, high-fired ceramic — harder than standard pottery, non-porous once fired.

Are they food-safe?
Yes. All Slowatom mugs use a lead-free, food-safe finish.

Are they microwave and dishwasher safe?
Yes to both. For a longer-lasting finish, we recommend hand-washing — but neither will damage the piece.

Why does each piece look slightly different?
Because each piece is made by hand. Small variations in color, surface texture, and weight are inherent to handmade ceramics. Each Slowatom mug is one-of-one, even within the same color.

Ordering and delivery

How long does delivery take?
Each piece is made to order and dispatched as soon as it is ready. After dispatch, delivery takes three to seven business days depending on your location.

Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We currently deliver across India only.

What if my order arrives broken?
Write to support@slowatom.com within 48 hours with a photograph. We'll send a replacement on our next production run, or refund in full. You don't need to ship the broken piece back. Full details on the Returns & Refunds page.

Returns and refunds

Can I return a mug if I don't like the color?
No. Each piece is made to order, so we don't accept returns for change of mind. If you're unsure between colors, write to us before ordering.

Can I cancel my order?
Yes, before production begins. Write to support@slowatom.com with your order ID.
